EDITORIAL STANDARDS

Evidence first. Context second. Action without hype.

Our editorial model is designed to distinguish verified source material from CyberDeltaForce assessment and to avoid manufacturing urgency where evidence does not support it.

Source hierarchy

  • Government, national CERT and authoritative vulnerability sources are prioritized for factual verification.
  • Affected vendors are prioritized for product-specific impact, remediation and patch information.
  • Independent threat research is used for technical analysis, campaign context and indicators.
  • Cybersecurity media is used for discovery, additional context and corroboration, not as automatic proof of a claim.

Editorial prioritization

Ranking considers source trust, recency, severity, active exploitation, defender relevance and corroboration. High numerical severity alone does not automatically make a story the lead item, and generic vulnerability feeds are deliberately limited so they do not overwhelm broader cybersecurity coverage.

Attribution and uncertainty

CyberDeltaForce avoids presenting unverified attacker attribution, victim impact or geographic relevance as settled fact. Where evidence is incomplete, language should reflect that uncertainty. Geographic mapping is only applied when a defensible country connection exists.

Originality and attribution

CyberDeltaForce does not republish third-party articles verbatim. We summarize source facts, add defensive context and retain original links in Sources & References so readers can inspect the underlying material themselves.
